SPATIAL PLANS AND REGULATORY PLANS WITH A FOCUS ON THE QUALITY OF THE BUILT ENVIRONMENT
This paper called „Spatial and regulatory plans with a focus on quality of built environment” examines town and country planning instruments at a local level which allow municipalities to regulate built environments within their territory focused on the quality of built environments of settlements. Attention is paid to the comparison of binding tools of spatial planning documentation – spatial plans (including spatial plans with regulatory elements) and regulatory plans – and to their advantages and disadvantages in practice. The paper also focuses on the most frequently used spatial regulations of built environments, both on their substantive regulation and on their normative side.
